My Brunei Experience.....
This will be my first ever long post!!! I bet it will be... It better be...
Frankly speaking, it din feel so tough leaving my loved ones behind this time round. I guess, its the 3rd time abroad without them and its the 2nd trip with my camp buddies... Its pretty much routine training to me...
The camp is damn out of place sia, so secluded tt a fast craft takes 3hrs to reach the 'port'. lakiun... The best thing about being in Lakiun is that OCS instructors are so much nicer to us and they are so much more caring and they kind of fight for our rights. One of the only times i feel tt they actually care.
I tot OCS instructors were bad b4 going there, but now tt i've gone there, Lakiun instructors especially those incharge of D/F ESPECIALLY the fucking MASIH... sucks..................
Woohoo... I've nvr seen someone so lousy as him sia... The worse fucking officer ever, even jeff is better i think.......
Enough of blasting him..
Abit into the training, infantry training was so easy for me. I was an enemy... i realli did nothing much to comment on it la...
JCC...
Nomad...
Dun go down Ravines? HOW not to? haaaa They are everywhere.!! We were on the verge of failing JCC from nomad. But the last day, with our op 8% cut down to op 1%, we made it with some slack time as well... =D Now for the nxt big thing...
Chillbone...
HAIX... the worse ever navex i had in my life... my grp was 4eva fighting and i mean forever... We dun discuss, we just chiong and realised we were wrong, but too late, so we chiong summore... chiong and chiong and we died. Spent 1 whole day walking, wading, floating, swimming in the river... climbed up the almost vertical Mt. Telugong, Nearly fell off a couple of tiems, ate durians rambutans... Climbed up Mt. Biang, pened our names up there. Went down, got lost, 2 person had severe foot rot, cannot go down fast enough, failed and got inserted for Chill Hermit late...
We started half a day later....
We needed 98% to pass JCC. We tried, i failed... i collapsed and was put on drip.
2nd day in sick bay, i was put on more drip. 3rd day i was discharged with around 6litres of saline water and glucose in my blood.
Cpt Chua passed me a letter and it was from Na, the only person who sent anything to anyone in brunei. U can imagine how touched i was la... gee.. Nxt day, i contracted viral fever with the likes of ppl ard me... we were all put on drip... We missed R&R, got treated like SARS patient and we're on way home....
The happiest moment of my life was when SQ8991 landed on Changi Airport... I was so happy i cried.... NVr knew i missed home so so so much.... And no matter from where, Singapore is the best place to be in.
I love Singapore......
