A simple sunday

Had a nice time with na today at kbox tho both of us arent feeling the best... well, as usual i sing until my throat burst... lala... still abit sore now... oh well... wasnt feeling very good the morning.. had a major stomachache and was feeling slightly nauseaous oh well... maybe coz i skipped dinner yesterday.. haha... lalala... after walking around for abit... i went driving... yep and i must say my driving skills have improved tremendously... and it felt good not having to stall haha... *beams* well, will be booking my TP next driving lesson... hopefully its on the coming thurday...

Just some complains here and there...

Hmm... life's been pretty good so far... except for the minor blister on my left foot... passed my FTT and thus i am able to book my TP.. Cant wait to get my license, i cant say its always a dream to have a license as its too small to be a dream.. haha.. but, its part of my wishlist la.. so i guess with it down, the hitlist would soon get smaller and shorter and with less wishes in mind, i guess i would have more happiness?? Less wants = more things fulfiled?? = Happiness??

Alright, yay.. ATEC is confirmed, we are going overseas and the location is confirmed Taiwan... Yay... but what may be 100% cock sure in the whole world, confirm in a certain place which i have no need to name is definately less than 100%. And guess what, the 4day ATEC has just gained a whopping "1" in from of the 4 so i have a 14day POI deployment ex in Singapore... WOW, is that happening or what?? Way Cool man, thats the way man... And guess what, my Uncle's wedding is in the Midst of the ATEC and i AM THE EMCEE, but i am gone... WHAT THE FUCK...... And my specs, they are going to ORD during that time and they cant clear leave at one shot now... and some even need to extend a few days i think... So i guess, i hate it...
But lets not bitch so much about the future which is so uncertain.. its bound to change somehow or another... even the training prog for the next week is not confirmed, how can something so FAR away be a certainty?? Possibility, Probability and based on Statistics, chances that it will be as planned... NEVER.
ALright, lets talk about recent things, Combat Shoot.. i din get marksman... tho i got a personal score of 39/40... i hate my Plt HQ, the lack of effort after 2 times MURPHY... but wtf.. life's unfair... ROute March... hmm, alright, something to call for a celebration, for the first time in my life, after doing a route march more than 8km, i DID not have an abrasion... WOW.. thats a miracle... *A toast to world peace* And for some reason, i finished the route march with a red face, thanks to Mr Sunshine, but its not something anyone of us will appreciate... Seriously, the weather at Tekong yesterday WAS a killer, even i, someone who has survived, Brunei,Taiwan, cannot take it. Was feeling Shagged out after the whole thing... And the most amazing thing that happened yesterday is that, i enjoyed the river crossing... hmm... wet underwear, wet clothes, wet socks, blisters... why did i enjoy it?? After recovering and given a serious thought, my conclusion is that, either the unbearable heat cooked the organ which is used to analyse and make decision, or i just need to cool down...
But, the guys seemed to enjoy it. And using my analytical organ to analyse why, i guess its because its their first time... After doing something repeatedly over and over again, i guess, u wont enjoy it AT all and you may even just lose your mind...

Well, looking at my expenditure recently, i must say, i am using cash more than i am using toilet paper to wipe my ass. Fuck man, i need to control before i dun even have cash for toilet paper. Seriously using money like it comes free, sometimes i do look forward to jurong island because, i dun get out often and thus, i save more... Cant wait to meet my darling tomorrow, we are making breakfast together... lala... *Happi*

My PAst week again.. i got no time to blog. so once a wk lor...

Alright.. Its been awhile since i blogged... but... lets see what happened over the past week...
Nothing much except that, i was busy preparing for the Combat Shoot which can be quite a headache especially since its a coordinated thing with my buddy Jack... Hmm so more precise timings must be meet etc lar... did the recce on the 20th, which is 5 days b4 the thing and its just 1 working day b4 the actual thing, ( excluding the off in lieu on friday..) i guess its kind of rush lar... but nvm la.. so many things are last minute lar... i mean on my side.. so i guess, i need better coord. on my own... boo... went for IMT on thurs and WTH.. its a total waste of time lar... oh my god... what to do??? Technology isnt that great in the SAF la.. cannot program a leap and bound version of the IMT... -.- . After tt, had a pretty not so fantastic cohesion la.. haha just eating the golden pillow... there isnt any performance la... so not much of entertainment also la.. so i guess its just a gather together and makan session... oh well... And ya the highlight of the week was the Paint Ball Game on friday at Orchid COuntry Club with the Charlie commanders... 16 went and none were from plt 8 la... -.- OH well... u cant have the best of both worlds.. Its a pretty fun game lar.. but it should be renamed PAIN ball la.. fucking pain all over la.. Bruises and it even cuts ur skin and makes u bleed... hmm... haha And had a great time driving on friday... tho i must say after almost 3 months of inactivity of the car, i cant really drive.. but my instructor taught me back waht i lost and i learned more thigns.. haha... hope to pass my driving soon so i can DRIVE... SAturday DO... oh boy, busy week with busy week end.. haha... i hate support armskote.. Keep drawing arms at different times in the day for CIA deployment and got SO many freaking ARMS... damn... And ya, i am going to book in le...

Dear, dont say i never talk about u.. gee.. let me dedicate the last bit for u.. tho we din meet up much over this week, other than the few nights, once on tues nite for dinner, friday noon for lunch and friday nite just to see u and drink coffee and just now... i enjoyed myself with u.. tho u din have such a great saturday, its nice and i am really happy that we are together and u are so so so nice to me... love ya lots dear...

Past week in camp

With the postpone of ATEC, the days in camp over the past week was quite distorted and crappy.. Some days only had 1 major event which isnt even major... TES set training, IPPT test, 16km Route March, and WAR gaming was on Mon, tues, wed,thurs respectively... nothing much to say about TES set training and ippt except i duno why i conduct for more other coy ppl den my own coy ppl for ippt. 16km wasnt very good, i had abrasions!!! argh... whats worst was the dumb WAR GAME... If i am not wrong, the sole purpose was to USE up the rounds indented for ATEC. But with the fucking Rick the Fat Ass around... it just makes my blood boil la.. One thing is he BUAY KAN (hokkien for Cannot work), den cannot talk properly... cant even do a proper briefing... Den, all he does is sit down and open his mouth... Fuck man... how can a commando even look like that?? He is just a pig.. seriously fat pig who does nothing but grunts and rolls in mud... Grr....

Alright... Been almost a week since i made my last entry. so i shall make another entry now.. heh
Today was a saturday, managed to wake up early to eat breakfast and not brunch.. haha... met na at 1130am at yck to go to PS for my Initial D movie... Yeah man FINALLY i got to watch the show... its not realli such a nice show lar.. but its pretty funny la, especially the things they say... like "If i keep bleeding, will it come once a month?" haha... Went centrepoint to buy Chocs from Sins straight after that... Later, we took the train down to Changi Airport... Its really been awhile since we have gone there and its pretty fun sitting there, talking about things and looking at people and planes taking off.. too bad T2 viewing gallery is under renovation.. if not it would definately be better than the T1 gallery.. Left the place around 1900. Wanted to go Holland V for dinner and to drink with her at first, but by taking train from one end to another, it would be ages, so we went Marina Sq for dinner... But we got more than we could bargain for.. we saw the fireworks and i managed to capture its glamour on my phone, tho the quality wasnt there, but its still pretty nice... its really been a while since i last saw fireworks.. Nice and pleasent surprise. After a light dinner, we went to shop around at marina and i bought her a rather pretty tube top... hope she wears it often... Went Esplanade's Harry's for the first time... its her 1st time pubbing haha... Didnt know what to drink, so i drank Lychee Martini and she drank Mango Margarita... and i turned pretty red.. haha.. and had a nice chat inside the bar... pretty cool environment with a live band... Yep and we went home after that...

A normal sunday...

eh... well, after over sleeping again, i rushed a cab to meet na for ALOT LIKE LOVE... haha.. actually a very cute and nice show... should have watched earlier lar.. but.. think its my fault tt we dragged until now... all who watch are couples except this bangala fellow... haha so i told na, he's looking for love.. haha.. and she said i was bad... but... oh well, Nan Ren Bu Huai Nu Ren Bu Ai Ma.. right?? haha... after tt i had pasta with her and its quite nice lar.. except abit oily lor... den... nothing much today lar... just had a simple and nice time with my dear dear... who called me garlic.. so she shall be onion... =p

just the past few days of my life

A different saturday...
Din feel well when i woke up... kind of tired and 'flu-y'--> the feeling of flu? haha... and my dear was kind enough to come over to 'look after' me and brought me brunch despite obviously disappointed tt i woke up late and couldnt go to all the places i promised her... but shes just so sweet to me... had a long long talk with her and well, i suppose we are still back to normal... =)
alright... after tt, we went to the train and i went to pasir ris while she went to town to get something from her friends... i went to pasir ris to meet my jc classmates and go to ber's birthday... and well, its definately a great thing to meet up with them... its really been awhile and many changes all around lar... but... the feelings great.. and i saw gary there too... and they met during a commercial shoot and he is also her dance instructor... haha small world huh?? well.. yup the world is indeed small.. maybe its just singapore lar... oh well... ATEC is postponed... omg... so much preparation for such a let down... seriously, i really dont get what the spartans are doing lar... such a major event can also be postponed at the last minute??? wth... ATEC is like the most major thingy in a battalion lar... but. it can be canceled the working day just before the start of it... and the day before tt news came, my boss even assured me that it is 99.9% confirmed to have atec... hey man.. thats like a 180degree twist to everything... pls.. somebody help them to wake up their idea...
And one thing just hits me hard... whats the point of having atec when we are already operational??? we are doing Ops duty in Ops Bacinet... ATEC is supposed to be an evaluation for the battalions to see how operational ready they are.. REDCON 1,2a,2b,3,4... but WE are operational.. so does it mean, if the battalion scores REDCON 2a and below, we will leave Ops Bacinet??? No way right?? so why give us such problems? further more, why the need for a POI battalion need to do Conventional Ops? it just doesnt make much sense lar... We are POI and yep, specialised at POI... so with so much Ops Bacinet duties in the middle, how are we going to find time to train and switch to conventional?? so every week before Ops, are we suppose to do a POI refresher course?? Den after we stand down, we do Conventional training??? hmm... i have no idea.. we already work more than the normal conventional unit now... but to input more stuff... its not going to work my dear... it will just bring down the morale of not just the men.. even the commanders are going... officers included...

Alright, lets see... maybe i should blog on what happened over these few days?? but nothing really happened this couple of days except that i was fighting a war at home and also another one in camp lar...
haha... oh well.. but they are over le la so... nvm la....
Seriously, i am not at all pleased with how my battalion is being runned la... every freaking last minute will change this and that la... Seriously coming into this battalion has really made me lost it la... i totally lost the desire to carry on and fighting spirit to fuck whatever that gets in my way la... I was prepared to deal with problems of officership.. but wasnt prepared for such major screw ups... Ya, maybe its the same everywhere la... but just let me bitch lar... i've been thinking hard, where have i left the desire to lead men into battlefield, changing them into better people and touching their lives with my actions.
I have been searching for it for awhile la... it is there somewhere la, i had so much desire to become a regular in the SAF due to those factors, but now, i realise how powerful losing faith can be...
Hopefully the answers i seek come to me swiftly and hopefully when answers appears, my decisions will be the right one.

Saturday Night Fever

Hmm... alright... i went double o for the first time yesterday... alright, Na was sick and is still sick. so we din go out. but i did went to her house to look for her and she seemed pretty sick.. so i spent most of the time at her house reading my ATEC notes... and watching tv la... den after tt, went to bugis to meet stephen and his friends... had dinner at pasta mania... bugis is so fucking pack due to the food fair la... oh man... Had to squeeze here and there to get to anywhere i wanted to go la..
Oh well, ya, so after tt we went to double 0. actually Kind of scared that i cant go in la, coz they say the minimun age is 21 but they nvr check la.. so lucky?? maybe... the environment is alot better than devils as i see it.. but it gets kind of pack la.. but the music is RETRO.. oh man.. *seriously,i am not into retro...* i din even have the feeling to dance la... my aim there was to actually dance away my unhappiness, moodiness and tiredness of the monotonous life in camp la... But given the retro, i can only dance abit la... Sibei no feeling la for me... I could only dance to a few songs la. the rest of the songs made me a dead fish dancin lor... oh well...
Met a few more people there, most of them serving their NS, all stephen's fren, Chai's friends la... friendly people... but i met a lot of fuckers who are just out to make trouble... if i had a bit more drink, i guess i would have spent the night in a lock up.. But at least i tried a new drink, Pineapple Rum-- SWEEt~~ heh... ya.. danced from 2230 to 0300... wow... shag... danced with a couple of girl grps la.. but i still din have much fun lar... well after tt we went to have supper and guess what we saw... nah i guess u are wrong.. BA POKs!! woot... oh my god... they are so pretty but they disgust me... yuck...
After supper took a cab home and reached around 5am.. haha... KNOCK OUT...
